Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary type compressor capable of attaining a high volumetric efficiency under a prescribed rotation speed without adjusting a length of a suction passage.SOLUTION: There are provided a space 1 and a space 2 where an actuation refrigerant is temporarily stored and a connecting passage 17 for connecting the space 1 with the space 2 within an accumulator 13, when a relation of f0=c/(2*π)*√((A/l)*(l/V1+1/V2))(where, V1[m] is a volume of the space 1; V2[m] is a volume of the space 2; l[m] is a total length of the connecting passage 17; A[m] is a sectional area; c[m/s] is a sound velocity of suction gas; and f0[Hz] is a prescribed number of rotation) is satisfied, an effect of super-charging is generated within the accumulator and it becomes possible to attain a high efficiency of compressor under the prescribed rotation speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
