PURPOSE: To control a wide range of a volume, by controlling a first on-off valve, situated in an unloader passage through which a suction chamber and a high compressor chamber are intercommunicated and a second on-off valve situated in a bypass passage through which the suction chamber and a compression chamber are intercommunicated.
CONSTITUTION: An unload port 25 of a cylinder chamber is communicated with a suction passage 19 through an unload passage 26, and an on-off valve 2 is located in the middle thereof. A bypass port 31 is formed in the side of a side housing 13 such that it is positioned in the middle between a suction port 17 and a delivery port 18, the bypass port is communicated with the suction port 17 through a bypass port 32, and an on-off valve 3 is located in the middle of the bypass passage. The two on-off valves 2 and 3 are variably controlled. This constitution enables control of a volume throughout a wide range with high precision.
