Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an ideal rotary type fluid compressor in terms of compatibility between the mutual properties on the wearing to a roller and a vane groove by making the vane having stable quality, in which a compound layer is easily developed on the vane surface and this layer thickness is easily controlled to have a high wear resistance and the dimensional unevenness is little.
CONSTITUTION: The vane 5 sliding in the vane groove 4 is composed of a steel material containing 0.50-1.30wt.% C, 11.0-20.0wt.% Cr and the balance Fe and applying the quenching, and on this surface, ion nitriding treatment is applied. Further, as the other material sliding with this vane 5, a cast iron having 0.10-6.00% carbide, any type of A, B, D and E in a graphite form in ASTM standard, the tempered martensite in the structure and the hardness of HRC 40-60 is used.
