Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder filling and packaging machine of a horizontal rotary type for forming a bag of a long resin film by heat-sealing, filling a powder and subdivision-packing, which can control a pitch between bags so that a single packaging machine can fill and package bags having different pitches.
SOLUTION: The powder filling and packaging machine includes numerous sealing bars for two-folding the long film widthwise, revolving around a vertical shaft to pinch the film and making into a bag, a chute to be removably inserted into each bag for filling a powder, and a powder feeding means for feeding a constant quantity of the powder to each chute. A rotary unit includes a rotary drum to be detachably fitted over the outer periphery of a rotating cylinder, a desired number of sealing bars to be mounted on a flange on the upper part of the outer periphery of the drum, and the same number of the chutes mounted on the rotary drum. The rotary unit is exchangeably fitted over the rotating cylinder driven to rotate to enable the pitch between the bags to be varied.
