PURPOSE: To reduce the number of components and to perform synchronous rotation through simple constitution by integrally forming a drive shaft and a rotary scroll member and causing the main bearing of a compressor to form a rolling bearing capable of simultaneously supporting a radial load and a thrust load.
CONSTITUTION: First and second rotary scroll members 2a and 2b are disposed to one of drive shafts 10a and 10b coupled to motor rotors 8a and 8b, respectively. Rotation is effected such that the lap sides of the two rotary scrolls are brought into partial contact with each other and main bearings 14a and 14b are provided for being fixed to frames 13a and 13b located between the rotary scroll members 2a and 2b and the motors 8a and 8b. The main bearings 14a and 14b form a rolling bearing which receives a radial load exerted on the drive shafts 10a and 10b and a load in the direction of a thrust. This constitution reduces viscous resistance generated by lubricating oil at a thrust support part and performs operation with high efficiency.
