Abstract:
To provide a rotary type valve device that can reduce the number of components, be downsized, and improve vehicle mountability.SOLUTION: A rotary type valve device comprises: a cylindrical valve 40 comprising an internal passage Ip, and opening parts 43a1 and 43b1 opened in an outer peripheral wall outward in a radial direction from the internal passage Ip, and to be rotated around a predetermined axis S; a shaft 41 to be rotated integrally with the valve; a housing H housing the valve, rotatably supporting the shaft, and defining a communication port 21 causing the internal passage to communicate with the outside; and a passage member 50 being installed in the housing so as to be in contact with the outer peripheral wall of the valve, and defining a radial passage Rp. The valve includes a recessed part 45 being recessed inward from one end surface in the direction of the axis, and surrounding one end part 41a of the shaft. The housing includes: a cylindrical part 12 being inserted into the recessed part, and supporting the one end part of the shaft; and a supporting hole 22 supporting the other end part 41b of the shaft in a region near the communication port.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
