Abstract:
To provide a rotary valve device which can suppress or prevent the deformation and settling of a passage member even in an environment in which an energization force of an energization spring acts thereon, is achieved in a low cost, and can maintain desired seal performance.SOLUTION: A rotary valve device comprises: a cylindrical valve 40 having an internal passage and an opening part which is opened at an external peripheral wall 43 toward the outside of a radial direction from the internal passage; a housing H for supporting the valve so as to be turnable while accommodating the valve therein; a cylindrical passage member 50 assembled into the housing so as to abut on the external peripheral wall of the valve, and defining a passage in the radial direction; and an energization spring 70 for energizing the passage member toward the external peripheral wall. The passage member 50 includes an abutment member 52 abutting on the external peripheral wall, and an interposition member 51 having an annular pressing part 51g interposed between the abutment member and the energization spring, and partially pressing the abutment member. The abutment member 52 has an annular seal face 52f1 in a region which is aligned with the annular pressing part 51g in an energization direction Fd of the energization spring.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16
