Abstract:

To provide a rotary vane-type vacuum pump capable of easily performing its maintenance and inhibiting the rise of temperature at a pump body side.

This rotary vane-type vacuum pump 10 comprises a motor 12 as a driving source, a pump main body part 16 mounted at a tip side of the motor 12 for generating the vacuum suction force by being driven by the motor 12, and a cooling fan 26 rotated by the motor 12 for air-cooling the pump body part 16. The cooling fan 26 is mounted between the motor 12 and the pump main body part 16. The pump main body part 16 forms an inner wall of a pump chamber in the pump body part 16, and is provided with a wall member 46 demountably mounted from the external. The pump chamber can be exposed by demounting the wall member 46 to perform the maintenance of the pump chamber without demounting the cooling fan 26, whereby the workability in maintenance can be improved.
