Abstract:
To address the problem of a gas turbine engine used as a power source for a helicopter, in which the engine itself becomes pricy and frequent inspection of the turbine is necessary as it has a turbine rotated by means of a high-temperature gas.SOLUTION: A rotary shaft 7 of a compressor 8 is rotated by means of a rotation force of a ram air turbine 3. High-pressure air generated by the compressor 8 is guided through a high-pressure air pipe 9 to a combustor 2. This air is mixed with fuel to be burned, and jetted out as a jet gas from the combustor 2 to rotate a rotary vane. Thus, the rotary vane is rotated without a turbine rotated by means of a high-pressure gas.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
