PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary working machine capable of filling a groove formed by a chain case.SOLUTION: A rotary working machine includes: a working rotor; a shield cover body part 2 for covering an upper side direction of the working rotor; an apron member 1 connected to a position on an opposite side in a tillage direction of the shield cover body part 2 for covering the opposite side in the tillage direction of the working rotor; an apron side plate connected to a position in a left side direction of the apron member 1 or a position in a right side direction of the apron member 1. The apron side plate can form an opening K at a position in a lower side direction of the apron side plate by changing the state of connection with the apron member 1 from a first state to a second state.
