The rotating anode X-ray tube comprises an anode target 13 for emitting a X-ray, a support shaft 14 for supporting the anode target 13, a first rotor 16 to which the supporting shaft 14 is connected, a second rotor 17 coupled to an outer periphery portion of the first rotor 16, a third rotor 18 coupled to the inner periphery portion of the first rotor 16, and a fixed body 20 fitted to the third rotor 18 via a bearing. The second rotor 17 is formed of a composite material having cavity portions of a sintered material impregnated with a metal material containing at least either copper or silver.
