Title:
ROTATING BODY WITH STRUCTURE BUILT-IN MECHANISM FOR ABSORBING AND BUFFERING SHOCK
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5853502
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make an installing space small, by dividing a rotating body such as a wheel into an outer wheel and an inner wheel, and joining those wheels through resilient bodies and shock absorbers.

CONSTITUTION: A rotating body 1 that receives power directly from a rotating shaft 2 joined to a machine and rotates together with the rotating shaft 2 is divided into an inner wheel 1b and an outer wheel 1a, and the inner wheel 1b is secured to the rotating shaft 2 by a key 3. Sixteen coil springs 5 and four shock absorbers 6 are arranged between the inner and outer wheels 1a, 1b to fix them each other. In this arrangement, when shock is exerted on the rotating body 1, the coil springs 5 and the shock absorbers 6 are constricted on the side where shock has been exerted, and those on the other sides are extended to absorb the shock. Thus, it is not required to provide an absorbing apparatus separately, and therefore the installing space can be reduced.
