Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple rotary damper capable of increasing attenuation force without enlarging the rotary damper.SOLUTION: A rotary damper includes: a rotary plate set 7 in which magnetic inner plates 41 and outer plates 43 supported by a rotary shaft 5 and a case 3 capable of relatively rotating are alternately disposed; a functional fluid F which interposes between the inner plates 41 and the outer plates 43, and generate attenuation force in relative rotations of the inner plates 41 and the outer plates 43 by allowing a magnetic flux loop R pass through; magnetism parting portion 29b which are provided at intermediate portions between inner peripheral portions 41a and 43a and outer peripheral portions 41b and 43b with regard to the inner plates 41 and the outer plates 43; a magnetic end portion member 45 which is disposed on one end portion side of the rotary plate set 7, and is laid between the inner peripheral portions 41a and the outer peripheral portions 41b of the inner plate 41 at one end portion of the rotary plate set 7; and permanent magnets 9 which are disposed on the other end portion side of the rotary plate set 7, and in which different magnetic poles 49a and 49b oppose to the inner peripheral portions 41a and the outer peripheral portions 41b of the inner plate 41 of the rotary plate sent 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
