To simplify a mechanism of a rotating direction changing device constituted to transmit normal rotation to an output side regardless of the normal or reverse rotating direction of an input side.
The rotating direction changing device comprises a fixed shaft 1; an input gear 2 and an output gear 3 formed of bevel gears provided symmetrically at the fixed shaft 1, a transmission gear shaft 5 provided at the fixed shaft 1 orthogonally to the fixed shaft 1 through a first one-way clutch 4 between the input gear 2 and the output gear 3; and a transmission gear 7 formed of a bevel gear rotatably provided at the transmission gear shaft 5 through a second one-way clutch 6. The transmission gear 7 is meshed with the input gear 2 and the output gear 3, and the directionality of the first and the second one-way clutches 4, 6 is set reversely on the basis of the rotating direction of the input gear 2.
