This rotating drive unit for sphere comprises three drive rollers pressed onto the sphere to rotatably support it. The three drive rollers are arranged at equal intervals in the halved height of the sphere and constituted so that the directions of the rotating axes can be freely set within the horizontal plane in the halved height of the sphere, and the three drive rollers are operated so that the rotating speed is conformed to the surface speed of the sphere in the pressure contact point.
