Abstract:
To provide a technique which is effective for reducing electromagnetic noise generated during arc discharge in a rotary electric machine in a low cost.SOLUTION: In a rotary electric machine 1, a plurality of commutator segments 32 and a plurality of brushes 35 have a plurality of end-of-sliding parts 34 and 37 when the commutator is rotating. At least one of the plurality of end-of-sliding parts 34 and 37 is a carbon containing part 38. Electromagnetic noise generated when the arc energy at the carbon containing part 38 during arc discharge is more than or equal to a noise-reduction reference value is lower than the electromagnetic noise generated when the arc energy is smaller than the noise-reduction reference value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
