Abstract:

To provide an efficient rotating electrical machine, by preventing an increase in wind loss due to control of a rotational flow, while reducing the eddy current loss of a stator-end structure.

In the rotating electrical machine which has a stator and a rotor, the flank, inside the rotating electrical machine, of the structure at or around the end of the stator is provided with a recess, and a nonconductive material is embedded in the recess.
