Title:
ROTATING ELECTRICAL MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2010124528
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To secure pressing force, even if a brush wears out, by bringing the brush into stable contact with a slip ring, in a rotating electrical machine.

The rotating electrical machine includes the slip ring 30, which is provided on a rotating shaft 22, and the brush 34, which gives pressing force to the slip ring 30 by a pressing mechanism 40. The pressing mechanism 40 includes: an intermediate member 44, which has larger mass M than that m of the brush 34; a pressing spring 42, which is attached between the brush 34 and the intermediate member 44; a shock-absorbing spring 46, which is a spring one end of which is attached to the intermediate member 44 and has a smaller spring constant k than the spring constant K of the pressing spring 42; and an adjuster 48, which is attached to the other end of the shock absorbing spring 46 and adjusts the original position pertaining to the energizing force of the shock-absorbing spring 46.
