Abstract:
A revolving light (2) outputs light of a light emitting diode (8) in lighting directions (A1 to A8), intersecting a predetermined rotation axis (6), by means of a reflecting mirror (10) rotationally driven on the rotation axis (6) by a rotation driving mechanism (11). The light emitting diode (8) is mounted at a predetermined light source position (P1) on the rotation axis (6), with the optical axis (23) of the light emitting diode (8) set along the rotation axis (6). A first reflecting surface (51) of the reflecting mirror (10) is formed in the shape of a paraboloid of revolution having the focus thereof at the light source position (P1) and reflects light of the light emitting diode (8) in the first lighting direction (A1). A second reflecting surface (52) of the reflecting mirror (10) faces the light emitting diode (8) so as to intersect the rotation axis (6) and reflects direct light from the light emitting diode (8). A third reflecting surface (53) of the reflecting mirror (10) reflects reflected light from the second reflecting surface (52) in the second to fourth lighting directions (A2 to A4).
