PURPOSE: To improve a cooling effect by flowing an air flow from a sirroco fan driven by the second rotating machine of the same shaft as a load shaft installed on the anti-load side of a first rotating machine driving the shaft of load along the outer circumferential wall of the first rotating machine.
CONSTITUTION: A second rotating machine (a motor) 13 turned in the same shaft as a load shaft 2 is mounted on the anti-load side of a first rotating machine (a motor) 1 driving the load shaft 2. A sirroco fan 15 is revolved by the shaft 14 of the motor 13, air sucked from the outside is forwarded in the rotational radial direction, the direction is changed in the axial direction as an arrow shown, and the cooling fins 5 of the motor 1 are cooled. One part of air is flowed back from a clearance 10 to a cover body 8, and the bearing section of the rear section of the motor 1 and a revolution-number detector 7 are cooled. One air is flowed upward by a guide plate 27 set up to a lower section on the load shaft 2 side, and a bearing section on the load side is cooled.
