Title:
ROTATING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000299964
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To stably maintain a rotating section support body, which supports a rotating section by preventing movement of improper materials, heat, etc., between spaces on a rotating section side and a rotationally driving section side, and at the same time, making the rotating section support body removable so that the support body may be washed, cleaned, exchanged, and so on at any time.

A rotary machine is built, by coaxially providing a motor 20 on the bottom side and an impeller 30 on the top side with a partition 10a made of a non-ferromagnetic material in between. Then a support frame 32, having a sleeve bearing section 34 which rotatably supports a rotating shaft 30a of the impeller 30 is removably put on the outer periphery of a fan casing 10 and is fixed to the casing 10. Permanent magnet bodies 24 for driving rotating section are provided rotationally symmetrically on the upper surface side of a rotor frame 22a around the axial line, so that the positive and negative magnetic poles are arranged alternately at fixed central-angle intervals in the peripheral direction. Similarly, permanent magnet bodies 36 coupled with the rotating section are provided on the lower surface side of a hub 30b. Since the magnet bodies 36 and 24 are made to face each other with their opposite magnetic poles in the axial direction with the partition 10a pinched inbetween, the magnet bodies 36 and 24 magnetically attract each other, and the rotating shafts 30a and 20a of the impeller 30 and motor 20 are coupled magnetically with each other.
