Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamo-electric machine which can ensure the number of turns of an induction coil and a field coil, and can use the spatial harmonic components more efficiently.SOLUTION: A dynamo-electric machine 1 includes an axial gap rotor 3 arranged in the axial direction of a stator 2 and facing the stator 2 with a gap, and a radial gap rotor 5 arranged on the radial inside or outside of the stator 2 with a gap and facing the stator 2. The axial gap rotor 3 has an induction coil 23 for inducing an induction current based on the magnetic flux generated in the stator 2. The radial gap rotor 5 has permanent magnets 33 provided in the radial gap rotor teeth 32, respectively, magnetic path members 34 arranged between adjoining radial gap rotor teeth 32, and a field coil 35 wound around the magnetic path members 34 and generating a magnetic field when energized with an induction current induced by the induction coil 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
