Abstract:

To provide a rotating plate drive device capable of adjusting the position of a rotating plate when the rotating plate is stopped due to a failure even when intrusion of foreign matter is prevented.

In a rotating plate drive device 1, an opening 125b is provided at a position facing a distal end face 961 of a first rotation axis 96 of a housing 120 and the opening 125b is sealed by a sealing member 124. An engaged section 962 formed of a minus shaped groove (recess) is formed on the distal end face 961 of the first rotation axis 96. Accordingly, if the sealing member 124 is removed or destroyed and a tool such as a minus driver is inserted from the opening 125b to be engaged to the engaged section 962 when a first shutter plate 20 is stopped at an improper position due to the occurrence of a failure in a first motor 90, etc, the first rotation axis 96 can be rotated and the first shutter plate 20 can be moved to a proper position.
