In a rotating saw 1, a plurality of extra hard alloy seats are formed in the periphery of a disk-shaped base metal 2, and a tip4 formed of an extra hard sintered body is fixed to the seat. The length of a tip pocket surface of the extra hard alloy seat is equal to or more than the tip length. The base metal 2 is formed of steel. Ultra hard particles are attached to the tip pocket bottom.
