Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating shaft connecting mechanism ensuring that the elliptical connection of a pressure roll can be pressed into contact by causing an elliptical inner hole in a roll coupling to uniformly contract.
SOLUTION: A cut surface 2c is formed on an outer peripheral surface located on the outer periphery of the planar portion 2b of the elliptical inner hole 2a in the roll coupling 2 and a gap between the outer peripheral surface and the inner peripheral surface of a sleeve 3 with a hydraulic pressure expansion chamber is made greater at the cut surface 2c than at other portions.
