Title:
ROTATING SPEED SENSOR HAVING CENTER-MOUNTED TUNING FORK
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2518600
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To minimize the influence of an inappropriate combination of the coefficients of thermal expansion of a sensor housing and a tuning fork.
CONSTITUTION: The rotating speed sensor uses a double-sided tuning fork 13 having a mounting base 14 equipped with only a single special mounting surface. The mounting base 14 is surrounded by the main body of the tuning fork 13 and located at the center thereof. The mounting base 14 is connected to the main body by a suspension device placed inside the main body part of the tuning fork 13. The tuning fork 13 is mounted to the housing 11 only by the single special mounting surface.
