Title:
ROTATING STROKE SPIRAL DRILL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3819500
Kind Code:
B
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating stroke spiral drill capable of maintaining efficiency of a drilling tool at least and securing favourable discharge of drilling chips.
SOLUTION: This drill is provided with at least one piece of head part discharge grooves 4, 5 for spiral drilling chips along the longitudinal direction of a drill shaft 1, provided with a cutting blade plate 6 and an auxiliary cutting blade 11 on a shaft end part 10, arranged with the cutting blade plate 6 and the auxiliary cutting blade 11 on a front end surface 3 of an end part of the drill shaft 1 in an X shape and projected in the axial direction and in the radial direction from the front end surface 3 and a side surface of the drill shaft 1. In this case, the auxiliary cutting blade 11 if further projected in the axial direction, in the radial direction or in the both directions than a marginal region of the cutting blade plate 6, the auxiliary cutting blade 11 and the cutting blade plate 6 following this auxiliary cutting blade 11 make an angle smaller than 90° concerning rotational direction R of a rotating stroke spiral drill, and the head part discharge grooves 4, 5 are made to precede each of the auxiliary cutting blades 11.
