To provide a rotating torque transmitting device capable of fully increasing the number of repetitive stress until fatigue failure occurs, that is, the durable life in spite of the fact that static strength of an interlocking part can be set to be low in order to surely shut off transmission when predetermined limit torque is applied.

In the rotating torque transmitting device for transmitting rotating torque of a driving side rotating body (limiter ring 6) to a driven side rotating body (hub 7), a connection claw 11 is projectedly disposed on one of the driving side rotating body and the driven side rotating body as a mechanism for transmitting the rotating torque, a cutout 14 for receiving the connection claw is disposed on the other one, pairs of the connection claws and the cutouts are provided in a separated position in the circumferential direction, and the connection claw and the cutout are arranged so that the relative position of them deviates for a predetermined phase angle θ in a direction opposite from a rotating direction while having a first pair as the standard. The phase angle θ is set to be larger than a maximum displacement angle θdin breakage of the connection claw.
