Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation angle sensor free from reliability degradation in measurement due to sticking mud or wetting intruded from outside.
SOLUTION: The sensor is provided with a cylindrical casing 1 wherein its top surface is covered with a lid section 2 having a, through-hole 2a at its center and is blocked by a lower surface bottom section 1a to internally plan a storage space 1h, a swivel 5 inserted into the through-hole 2a as well as rotatably-held on the casing 1 to project its upper end outward from the casing 1 while locating its lower end on the storage space 1h, a lever 11 installed in the upper end, rotation detecting sections 7, 8 installed in the lower end of the swivel 5, and a connector terminal 10 to be led from the rotation detecting sections 7, 8 towards outside the casing 1. The lever 11 contains a cover section 11a and an operating section 11b, the cover section 11a contains a base to be capped on the lid section 2 of the casing 1 and a wall 11f covering the outer side surface of the upper end on the casing 1, and the operating section 11b is formed as to be projected out of the cover section 11a.
