PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a cable protection tube made of a spiral tube, with which an existing cable is covered for protection, to be rotated and wound around the cable by simple and easy operation.SOLUTION: A rotation apparatus 1 for attachment of a cable protection tube P made of a spiral tube is provided, in which the cable protection tube is a band-like plate member with a prescribed width having a substantially flat S-shape in a cross-sectional surface thereof, and is wound around an existing cable K in a spiral state with groove portions thereof positioned inside or outside engaged with each other, so as to be bendable. In order for the cable protection tube P itself to rotate around a longitudinal axis direction and to be wound around the cable K sequentially from one end side of an opening section thereof, in which the one end side is spirally disassembled, the rotation apparatus for attachment 1 comprises: a press bonding rotation auxiliary 2 for attachably/detachably engaging and attaching to another end side of opening section of the cable protection tube P; and a rotation operation tool 11 capable of connecting to the press bonding rotation auxiliary 2 at a center of an outside surface thereof, and for rotating the cable protection tube P through the press bonding rotation auxiliary 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
