Six magnetic resistance segments 4a-4f are formed by film formation on the signal processing circuit part 3 comprising an IC chip, and arranged symmetrically with respect to the center line CL of a magnet 2 orthogonal to the rotation direction along a predetermined rotation direction of a magnetic moving body 1, for example, the normal rotation direction shown by an arrow R. The first and second bridge circuits 11, 21 are formed by pairs of magnetic resistance segments 4a, 4b and 4c, 4d among the segments, whose pitch centers are symmetrically arranged mutually with respect to the center line CL of the magnet 2, and the third bridge circuit 31 is formed by the residual pair of magnetic resistance segments 4e, 4f having the pitch centers on the center line CL of the magnet 2.
