Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation detection device that can respond to every attachment specification and is easy to manufacture.SOLUTION: A sensor housing 5 of a wheel speed sensor 1 holds a sensor covering part 4 and a signal cable 2. The signal cable 2 is accommodated in the connection terminal 54 of the sensor housing 5, and a sensor cap 6 for changing the direction of its extraction is installed. An opening 61a of cylindrical shape is formed at end of the sensor cap 6. A plurality of engagement projections 61c are formed on the inner circumferential surface 61b of the opening 61a, and a plurality of engagement holes 54c are provided on the outer circumferential surface 54b of the connection terminal 54. When the sensor cap 6 is mounted in the sensor housing 5, the opening 61a of the sensor cap 6 and the connection terminal 54 of the sensor housing 5 are brought closer in the axial direction, making the outer circumferential surface 54b and the opening 61a fitted together and the engagement projection 61c and the engagement hole 54c engaged together.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
