A rotation drive unit includes: a rotation axis 1 whose tip is a sphere shape; a magnet rotor 2 that is fitted and adhered to the rotation axis and has a hollow part; and a drive coil that rotates and drives the magnet rotor. The rotation axis includes: a first notch groove 1a, which is the coating part of adhesive composed of photocurable resin; a second notch groove 1b for saving the adhesive flowing out from the first notch groove when the adhesive is coated; and a projection part 1c that prevents the adhesive from flowing out into the edge part of the rotation axis.
