To enhance assembling property by reducing the number of part items.
A cross shaft 18 in which a shift shaft 1 and a select shaft 2 are integrally formed is stored inside of a housing 3, and end parts 1a, 1b of the shift shaft 1 are supported on sidewalls 3a, 3b of the housing 3. Rocking members 6 are rockably supported on both end parts of the select shaft 2, and a lower end part of a shift lever 9 inserted from an upper opening part 3d of an upper surface part 3c of the housing 3 is bonded to the rocking member 6. A first sensor 10 is mounted to a sensor opening formed on a front wall 3e of the housing on a front side of the rocking member 6 from the outside, and an engagement member 11 of a U shape bonded to an input shaft 10a of the first sensor 10 is engaged in such a state that it clamps both sides of the rocking member 6. A second sensor 12 having an axis approximately parallel to the shift shaft 1 is mounted to a rear wall 3f of the housing on a rear side of the rocking member from an axial direction, and an input shaft 12a of the second sensor 12 and an end part of the shift shaft 1 are rotatably connected to each other through gears 1c, 15.
