To easily and surely acquire a terminal structure, wherein the arrangement order of terminals on the connected side to the outside is different from the order of arrangement of terminals on a part connected to a plurality of leads extending from a detection element, in a rotation sensor, with the detection element is connected to the outside via the terminals.

In this rotation sensor 1, including a substrate part 3, comprising resin; the detection element for detecting rotation of a rotator; and a plurality of terminals 4 insert-molded in the substrate part 3, whose ends 4L on one side are used as terminals connected to the detection element, and whose ends 4R on the other side are used as outside connection points connected to the outside, with at least the ends 4L on the side connected to the detection element of the plurality of terminals 4 being arranged, aligned on the approximately same plane; and at least one of the ends is extended to the opposite side of the adjacent other end by detouring around the other adjacent end.
