Abstract:

To accurately predict and detect a rotation speed by causing neither errors due to noise nor a delay.

A rotation speed prediction system for predicting the rotation speed of a rotary member changing the rotating speed comprises a rotation speed detection means (step S1) for detecting the rotation speed of the rotary member; a first filter processing means (step S4) for processing a rotation speed detection value detected with the rotation speed detection means (step S1) with a first filter and obtaining a first filter processed value; a second filter processing means (step S5) for further processing the first filter processed value with a second filter and obtaining a second filter processed value; and a prediction means (step S6) for predicting the rotation speed of the rotary member on the basis of the first filter processed value and the second filter processed value.
