Title:
ROTATION STABILIZING SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003184955
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To effectively control vibration arising on a rotational body by adjusting elastic force of an elastic bearing in a rotation stabilizing system.

The system is mounted on base in a casing 10 and is provided with a shaft 2 of a cantilever support uprightly standing a tip toward an opening, and supports both ends of the axis of rotation 1 with the elastic bearings 11, 12 by concentrically inserting through the cylindrical axis of rotation 1 on a shaft 2. There are disposed four accelerator sensors 3a, 3b and displacement sensors 4a, 4b by adjoining to the elastic bearings 11, 12 of the shaft 2 in peripheral X and Y axes direction, respectively. The elastic bearing 11, 12 comprise a deformable laminated material, put medium of gas and liquid inside them, vary pressure by allowing the inside medium to flow into and out based on the detected signal of the sensors 3a, 3b, 4a, 4b, and adjust holding force of axis of rotation 1 in accordance with magnitude of the vibration.
