The rotation transmission device comprises: a cylindrical first rotary shaft 2; a cylindrical permanent magnet 5 fixed on the outer peripheral surface of the first rotary shaft 2; a rolling bearing 4 situated on the first rotary shaft 2; a second rotary shaft 3 in the shape of a cylinder with a bottom connected to the first rotary shaft 2 through the rolling bearing 4; and a cylindrical semirigid magnetic body 6 opposed with an interval to the peripheral surface of the permanent magnet 5. Step parts 2a and 2b are situated at the two ends of the first rotary shaft 2 and the rolling bearings 4 are fitted in the step parts 2a and 2b.
