Abstract:
To provide a rotational force transmission control mechanism which can inhibit idling of an input part.SOLUTION: A rotational force transmission control mechanism 3 includes: a rotatable input part 15 including a polygonal cam part 15a having cam surfaces 15c at an outer periphery; an output part 16 which has a cam facing surface 16a facing the cam surfaces 15c and may coaxially rotate with the input part 15; rolling elements 17 disposed at a space 25 formed between the cam surfaces 15c and the cam facing surface 16a; a holding part 14 which is located at the opposite side of the output part 16 with respect to the input part 15 in an axial direction in which a rotation axis of the input part 15 extends, holds the input part 15 in a rotatable manner, and holds the rolling elements 17 in a rollable manner; and an axial biasing member 18 which biases the holding part 14 toward the output part 16 in the axial direction so as to restrict movement of the input part 15a and the rolling elements 17 in the axial direction of the input part 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
