Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needle punching apparatus capable of robustly and inexpensively producing a fiber product in the shape of rotator and a fiber product using the apparatus.SOLUTION: This apparatus is a rotator type needle punching apparatus and comprises: a mold form 1 in a shape of rotator containing a rotating shaft at a central part; forward and backward zippers 4, 5 to which the rotating shaft of the mold form can be installed; a motor 3 to rotate the mold form; a guide 25 to continuously supply fiber fabric from a side face of the mold form; and a needle plate 21 to make needle punching at a position where the fabric contacts the rotating mold form to be rolled up. The apparatus can produce a fiber product in a shape of rotator by a simpler needle punching method compared to a conventional 3D weaving method or 3D braiding method. The side face of the mold form is in the form of straight or curve line. A buffer material is attached to an outer face of the mold form in order to protect a needle and the mold form.
