Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a rotor for an electromagnetic speed reducer, improving generated retarding torque economically by enhancing the cooling action of an electromagnetic speed reducer. CONSTITUTION: A large number of thermal conductive separate insert 13, which is extended in parallel with the axis of a rotor and in which both edges 15 in the axial direction are buried by small depth in surfaces in each two mutually opposed lateral direction of a disk 2 and a flange 11 for the rotor, is contained between the disk 2 and the flange 11, in addition to a small number of comparatively thick fins 9 molded as integral section, pieces together with the disk and the flang at intervals.
