Title:
ROTOR CHAMBER STRUCTURE FOR LUBRICATED SCREW COMPRESSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3682889
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an oil drip, scattered according to rotation of a screw rotor, from entering into an air suction port.
SOLUTION: In a lubricated screw compressor storing screw rotors 1, 2 in a rotor chamber 3, a partitioning wall 6, extended almost parallelly to the center of rotation of the screw rotors 1, 2, is provided between an air suction port 4 sucking air into the rotor chamber 3 and the screw rotors 1, 2. A surface of the partitioning wall 6 opposed to the screw rotors 1, 2 is formed as a return surface 7 having a shape springing back an oil drip, when it is scattered to collide, in a peripheral direction of the screw rotors 1, 2. Accordingly, the oil drip, sprung back by hitting the return surface 7, is prevented from entering into the air suction port 4 by repeating spring back thereafter.
