Abstract:
To provide a rotor core excellent in strength characteristics, especially fatigue characteristics, to propose a manufacturing method thereof, and to provide a motor which facilitates control of an air gap using the rotor core.SOLUTION: After a plurality of holes is formed in the rotor core shaped steel plate taken from the raw steel plate having a predetermined component composition by heat cutting processing, the hole side, which is cut off with respect to a normal line of the surface of the steel plate, is irradiated with heat beams at an angle of 1 to 5° while blowing the assist gas from the direction perpendicular to the steel plate surface in the heat cutting process when the rotor core is manufactured by laminating the steel plates, whereby the rotor core is manufactured by setting an average particle diameter De of recrystallized grains adjacent to the cut surface to be 10.0 μm or less, preferably setting De to be equal to or less than 1/3 of an average crystal grain diameter Db of the base material steel plate, and further, preferably setting a range of existence of recrystallized grains to be equal to or more than 20 μm from the cut surface. Moreover, disclosed is a motor whose shortest distance between the inner diameters of the rotor core and a stator core is equal to or smaller than 0.30 mm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
