Abstract:

PURPOSE: To eliminate the lateral face of a sleeve directing the core by a structure wherein a nonmagnetic supporting sleeve surrounding a rotor body while engaging frictionally therewith has one open end and shrinkage fitted to the rotor body such that the inside diameter penetrate the rotor body while passing one end thereof. CONSTITUTION: A rotor 19 and a case 17 are inserted into a sleeve 40 and a shaft 12. The case 17 is sliding fitted restrictively in the shaft 12 and the rotor 19 is shrinkage fitted hermetically in the sleeve 40. In order to achieve hermetic shrinkage fit, the sleeve 40 is heated up to 400 deg.C before being fitted with the rotor 19 and subsequently it is cooled and shrinkage fitted to a soft iron body 30. At the time of maintenance or repair, the case 17 and the rotor 19 can be taken out through the end part 43.
