Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an armature assembly capable of ensuring insulation between windings hooked on adjacent commutator segments while suppressing deformation of the commutator segments, and to provide an electric blower including the same.SOLUTION: The armature assembly includes: a rotary shaft; a cylindrical commutator 53 fixed to the rotary shaft; an armature core; and a wall portion 67 as an interposed portion. The commutator 53 is provided with a plurality of electrically conductive commutator segments 66 arranged circumferentially spaced apart and in sliding contact with a brush device. The armature core includes windings 58a fixed to the rotary shaft 51 and hooked to the commutator segments 66 and electrically connected. The armature core constitutes a rotary magnetic pole in which the magnetic poles are switched by switching the commutator segments 66 in sliding contact with the brush device with rotation. The wall portion 67 has insulating properties and is interposed between the windings 58a hooked on the adjacent commutator segments 66.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
