Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce a manufacturing lead time by a method wherein a step part which has the height approximately the same as the thickness of a magnet and has a slope on its side opposite to the side touching the magnet is provided on a rotor shaft and a protective ring which is made to adhere tightly to the step part and the outer circumference surface of the magnet is provided.
CONSTITUTION: In order to fix a magnet 1 to a rotor shaft 2, a step part 21 which has a height H approximately the same as the thickness T of the magnet 1 is provided on the rotor shaft 2. The one end surface 21a is so formed as to be perpendicular to the rotor shaft 2 and a slope 21b which is inclined from the outer circumference of the step part 21 is formed on the side which does not touch the magnet 1. Then a protective ring 3 is put on the rotor shaft 2 from its opening part 32 so as to cover the step part 21 and the outer circumference surface of the magnet 1. With this constitution, a process for bonding the protective ring 3 to the magnet 1 can be eliminated and a manufacturing lead time can be substantially reduced.
