Abstract:

To enable high-speed rotation of a rotor.

The rotor comprises a permanent magnet (1) which does not have a cavity and formed in columnar shape; a shaft (4) which is the rotating shaft of the rotor; and joining members (2 and 3) which join the permanent magnet (1) and the shaft (4). The columnar permanent magnet having no cavity is high in strength against centrifugal force and makes it possible to rotate the rotor at high speed.
