A locking recess 12 is provided on the outer circumferential surfaces of ring magnets 9a, 9b comprising a rotor. A cover member 10 is provided on its inner circumferential surface with cutouts 13 to be inserted into and engaged with the locking recesses 12 to position the ring magnets 9a, 9b. The locking recesses 12 and the cutouts 13 are engaged with each other in the circumferential direction and the ring magnets 9a, 9b are thereby positioned in the circumferential direction.
