Abstract:
To provide a rotor, a motor, and a rotor assembly method that can suppress deformation of a magnet cover.SOLUTION: A rotor includes a shaft that rotates around an axial center C, a shaft holding hole 72 to hold the shaft, a rotor core 32 rotating around the axial center C in the radial direction, a magnet 33 arranged on the outer peripheral surface of the rotor core 32, and a metal magnet cover 71 that covers the circumference of the magnet 33. The magnet cover 71 includes a cylindrical portion 71a covering the outer circumference of the magnet 33 in the radial direction, and an overhanging portion 71b provided from one end of the cylindrical portion 71a in the axial center C direction to be convex toward the outside in the axial center C direction and to be folded back toward the inside in the radial direction, and also provided over the entire circumference of the cylindrical portion 71a. The overhanging portion 71b is formed with a strength that is less likely to be deformed than the cylindrical portion 71a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
