Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of stress concentration in a rotor core and/or the interior of an end ring. According to one embodiment, a rotor for an outer-rotor type motor comprises: a rotor core having a substantially cylindrical shape, said rotor core being divided into a plurality of separate circular arc sections; a plurality of metal bars secured to the inner circumferential portion of the rotor core, each of the plurality of metal bars extending in the axial direction of the rotor core; and an end ring electrically connecting the plurality of metal bars to each other.
